While working with CBS MaxPreps and NIKE on the 5 Days 2 Friday Road Tour, Casey Littlejohn and myself had the honor to help the St. Ignatius football program spread awareness about youth violence.
Two of the best Ohio high school football programs in the nation, St. Ignatius and St. Xavier teamed up to shed light on the issue of youth-on-youth violence. The players honored slain UConn football player Jasper Howard by wearing #6 decals, donated by Rotary International, on their helmets during their game on Oct. 24, 2009.

A childhood best friend of mine lost his life because of this ridiculous youth on youth violence. He situation differs from the norm because he wasn't the original victam, but instead somone who wanted to do the right thing and break up the fight...
Violence in general needs to end but especially youth on youth.
