Lily Allen Puts 'The Fear' In The U.K. Chart, Alesha Dixon Scores A Second Top 10 Hit

Lily Allen's "The Fear," the lead single off her upcoming second album It's Not Me, It's You, has unseated Lady GaGa's "Just Dance" from the top of the U.K. chart this week.

Just like here in the States, GaGa had a three week stay at #1 before being pried off the stripper pole and slapped down to #2. (In the case of the U.S. chart, it was Kelly Clarkson who did the prying. And you know that Texas bitch probably slipped a finger or two up Lady's vinyl taco in the process.)

And, look, I know I used to rail against Lily Allen back in the day. I recall posting that she should have two sticks of dynamite strapped to either side of her head. But I'm okay with "The Fear." Just as long as this achievement doesn't bring that other obnoxious marble-mouthed slut Kate Nash out of the woodwork.

Hopefully someone firebombed that one's panties by now.

Speaking of which, Alesha Dixon's Soulshock & Karlin-produced "Breathe Slow" is a hit! And here it is:

Just a really great, sweet ballad. "Breathe Slow" follows in the steps of ex-Mis-Teeq member Dixon's previous single, "The Boy Does Nothing," and cracks the U.K. Top 10 (this time at #6).

Gosh, I just re-read all that stuff about Lily and Kate Nash. What is it about those broads that decimates all the hard work I've done with anger management issues?

Oh well, on a week where The Saturdays are still hanging in the Top 10 after nearly a month, can anything really be that bad?

The U.K. Top 10:

1. "The Fear" - Lily Allen *1 week*
2. "Just Dance" - Lady GaGa feat. Colby Adonis
3. "Day 'n' Night" - Kid Cudi Vs. Crookers
4. "Take Me Back" - Tinchy Stryder feat. Taio Cruz
5. "Broken Strings" - James Morrison feat. Nelly Furtado
6. "Breathe Slow" - Alesha Dixon
7. "Let It Rock" - Kevin Rudolf feat. Lil Wayne
8. "Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)'" - Beyonce
