Real McCoy Working On New Material, Recognized For 'Billboard' Chart Achievement

German dance/pop act Real McCoy, the brainchild of Olaf "O-Jay" Jeglitza, have been back in the studio in Berlin working on the first album of new material since 1997's One More Time.

O-Jay is pictured above (black DKNY Jeans shirt) with Frank "Quickmix" Hassas (orange hoodie), who was one of the writers/co-producers of the Real McCoy classics "Another Night," "Run Away" and "Automatic Lover (Call For Love)."

Below is a clip of the team getting creative in the studio. "A little insight into Real McCoy's current album production," says O-Jay. "More to come."

Meanwhile, Billboard recently compiled it's Hot 100 All-Time Songs to celebrate the Hot 100 Chart's 50th anniversary. Real McCoy's "Another Night" came in at #91—the only German act to appear on the list.

Here's what Billboard had to say about the 1994 Eurodance classic:
This German dance act arrived in summer 1994 with this dance/pop gem, which also led the Hot Dance Club Play chart in October. Thanks to its lengthy chart life (45 weeks), the No. 3-peaking "Another Night" makes the list as the only song that did not peak at No. 1 or No. 2.
