Kris Allen Almost Has A Hit!

It's another quiet week on the Billboard Hot 100, where the highest debut is Lil Wayne and Eminem's "Drop The World" at #18.

Elsewhere, Kris Allen's "Live Like We're Dying"—one of Chart Rigger's lucky picks for Worst Singles Of 2009—crawls up from #32 to #30. Golly, this might end up being the slowest-moving sleeper jam from a former Idol contestant since Katharine McPhee's "Over It" charted at the stunning heights of #29 three years ago.

Meanwhile, it's now been a month since The Script debuted at #96 with "Breakeven," so let's check in and see how they're doing. Oh, there they are—all the way up to #84!

Over on the album chart, it's a sixth week at #1 for Susan Boyle, whose I Dreamed A Dream has now racked up sales of over 3 million copies in the states. I'm putting my ca$h on Ke$ha to knock that broad off her perch next week.

The U.S. Top 10:

2. "Bad Romance" - Lady Gaga
3. "Replay" - Iyaz
4. "Empire State Of Mind" - Jay-Z feat. Alica Keys
5. "Fireflies" - Owl City
6. "Sexy Chick" - David Guetta feat. Akon
7. "Down" - Jay Sean feat. Lil Wayne
8. "Whatcha Say" - Jason DeRulo
9. "I Gotta Feeling" - The Black Eyed Peas
10. "Party In The U.S.A." - Miley Cyrus
