Lady Gaga, Lily Allen, Florence And The Machine and Pixie Lott all landed three Brit Awards nominations today. The shindig goes down on February 16, about two and a half weeks after the Grammys. Gone now is the British Live Act category.And though Simon Cowell made out like a bandit with artists such as JLS, Leona Lewis, Alexandra Burke and, yes, even Joe McElderry receiving nods, Susan Boyle was completely shut out. Ironically, she had the best-selling album in the U.K. last year.
Below is the full list of nominations—a bit of a ho-hum snooze if you ask me, given last year's spectacular ceremony and lineup. Following that, I posted some of the more exciting wins from the past decade.
