It all comes full circle; EMI/Capitol, the Pet Shop Boys' first label in the U.S., circulated a press release today stating that the duo's 10th studio album Yes will get an American release April 21 on Astralwerks.
The Boys' albums from Please through Very were put out here by EMI. Following that, they were bounced around labels like Atlantic, Sanctuary and Rhino. You may recall that the EMI sub-label Astralwerks also released Kylie Minogue's X last April.Says the press release:
