Big Entries For The Noisettes, Pet Shop Boys

It's a second week at the top of the U.K. singles chart for Lady GaGa with "Poker Face." She could be poised to wrangle her second #1 on American shores this coming week, too, as the tune is inescapable at radio and has become the top download on the iTunes over the past few days.

The Noisettes' pleasant little indie-pop ditty "Don't Upset The Rhythm (Go Baby Go)" arrives at #2, on the strength of the song's use in a Mazda ad.

Check out leggy, charismatic Noisettes singer Shingai Shoniwa (pictured above) shake her cans in the video:

La Roux stick around at #11 for a second week with their electro jam "In For The Kill." As mentioned yesterday, the pair will be hitting the U.S. for a handful of club dates ahead of their album release this summer.

Pet Shop Boys
' "Love etc." drops from #14 to #27. However, now the dust has settled on the week's album-chart battle, and the PSBs have managed to debut at #4 with Yes. This is the duo's highest entry for a studio album since Bilingual also reached #4 in 1996. Previously, Fundamental (2006) made #5, Release (2002) #7 and Nightlife (1999) #7.

Incidentally, Neil Tennant confirmed on The Graham Norton Show last week that "Did You See Me Coming?" will be the second single released off Yes.
