Forget The Saturdays, Sugababes Seem To Be The Ones With Real 'Issues'

Tomorrow sees the U.K. release of the Saturdays' third single, "Issues," complete with remixes from Yaz(oo) and Erasure's Vince Clarke and Digital Dog. (The gal group's first single, "If This Is Love," sampled Yaz's "Situation.")

But while "Issues" is enjoying a comfy stay at #27 this week on the U.K. Singles chart ahead of its official release tomorrow, a veteran British girl band seems to be floundering.

Sugababes released a lackluster album in the fall, and their second single off it, "No Can Do," appears to have failed to connect with the public. It's sitting at a dismal #23. Perhaps someone oughtta tell the 'babes that four releases in three years is really pushing it as far as oversaturation.

A bit lower, at #39, Girls Aloud's Pet Shop Boys/Xenomania collaboration "The Loving Kind" rears its head before its official release on January 12.

If that's not enough girlie action for you, there's always the debut of Lady GaGa at #3 with "Just Dance." Hey, at least no one's sick of that one yet, right?

On the Brit album chart, Take That's The Circus is at the top for a fifth week in a row, with nearly 1.5 million copies sold.
