Poor Joe McElderry. Such a nice mouth. But so much lack of love in the charts. Not only was the 18-year-old pop pipsqueak robbed of the Christmas #1 single in the U.K. two weeks ago, he now gets bumped down to #2 after a lone week on top by Lady Gaga's "Bad Romance."

Even Leon Jackson spent a full three weeks on top of the Brit chart two years ago with...with...what the hell was his one hit called? "Praying For Unchained Hallelujah?"

Meanwhile, like a 10-legged centipede in a thong, The Saturdays skitter up from #20 to #17 with "Ego." Awww, that analogy makes me think back to the days of Danity Kane—the original 10-legged Ho Machine. Oh, nostalgia for hookerz gone by...

Anyway, today is the official release date for "Ego." If it misses the Top 10, you might as well chuck these broads into the wood chipper next to Joe.

Finally, it's always classy to see what the kidz are using their iTunes gift cards on the week after Christmas—Lady Gaga's "Poker Face" re-enters the chart at #32, while Snow Patrol's "Chasing Cars"—a tune nearly four years old, which was just named the most-played song of the past decade in the U.K.—pops back in at #39.
