Alas, it's Iyaz's "Replay" that has the honor of kicking Gaga to the curb. Aptly titled, that one is, since it comes off like a redux of everything Sean Kingston and Jason Derulo have foisted onto the public in recent memory. (Incidentally, Derulo and J.R. Rotem co-wrote "Replay"—which, of course, is fascinating information.)
Florence And The Machine's "You've Got The Love" cracks the Top 10 this week and moves up to #5, besting her/their previous-best chart peak of #12 with "Rabbit Heart (Raise It Up)." I played this broad's CD Lungs in the car this past fall, but ended up ejecting it by track six or seven because I felt the need to hear good music, like A*Teens. I think I frisbee'd Florence out the car window while I was flying down the freeway.
FATM also see "Dog Days Are Over" debut at #23. Flo, luv, I said it before and I'll say it again: Tori Amos wants her pussy back.
What are we talking about? Ah, yes—The Saturdays. "Ego" jumps up to #9 this week, marking the group's sixth Top 10 hit in under two years. Depressing, isn't it, that the dismal "No Air" knockoff "Here Standing" is scheduled as the Sats' next single, no?
