With Breathless, it was a score. I still cue up that album for a spin at least once every month or so. As for JLS—well, it's about a 7 out of 10, with the mid-tempo, insanely catchy "Only Tonight" and equally sugary "Kickstart" being the main standouts. Some of the Ne-Yo-lite fodder (if you can imagine such a thing) is awful. "Close To You" and "Tightrope" spring to mind.
Anyway, the video for the quartet's "One Shot" was added to their YouTube channel today. Super cheap affair for a so-so choice of a third single.
Of course, compared to the more upbeat jams still left untapped on the album, I thought "Everybody In Love" was a dismal selection for the second single—and that went straight to the top of the U.K. chart.
