Now one of us at the SCP HQ nearly booked a ticket to London immediately when she heard this news - The Pet Shop Boys are to tour with Take That on their UK tour!
Now you would of thought that the PSB don’t need to “piggy back” off Take That after selling 50 million records worldwide themselves! However Neil and Chris (to their friends) will perform a 40-minute set each night before the fab 5 takes to the stage.
They said: “We are delighted to accept Take That’s invitation to be part of their Progress show and tour, which is undoubtedly going to be one of the most exciting events of 2011.”
Robbie was a HUGE PSB fan stating it would be an “absolute joy to watch them every night.”
The sold out UK tour kicks off on 27 May before hitting the european road.
Lets just hope Robbie sticks around!
Oh, our PSB/Take That fan here at the SCP office has just confirmed she has just booked her flights and submitted here annual leave request! Jeez!
