Since winning UK Pop Idol back in 2002, we have always had a soft spot for the Wokingham born Will Young. His album Friday’s Child, which went five times platinum in the UK with worldwide sales of over 1.8 million, cemented him in our hearts as being British treasure of pop. His cheeky grin and cool smooth soul voice had us at “hello”. Yes we have a slight crush!
News reaches us that he has started work on his fifth studio album, the highly anticipated follow up to his 2008 Let It Go. He last collaborated with Groove Armada on their album Black Light
His new album, due to be released this July will have an "upbeat" feel according to Young and is collaborating with producers Richard X and The Shapeshifters.
