Robbie Williams' comeback is on a roll! The onetime
Take That crooner has been singled out to receive the Outstanding Contribution To Music award at the BRITs—i.e., the same prize the
Pet Shop Boys were given earlier this year where they did that
really rad medley of their hitz with
Brandon Flowers and
Lady GaGa—in February.

And, kudos to Rob—it's certainly been a banner year for him. Well, banner week, at least. "Bodies"
debuted at #2 on the U.K. singles chart this past Sunday, and his
Trevor Horn-produced album
Reality Killed The Video Star is out November 9.
Hey! The Pet Shop Boys also worked with Trevor Horn on their 2006 Fundamental album. Hmmm.
Robbie is noted for having won 11 BRIT Awards in the past, more than any other artist. So what's one more to stuff in a box up in the attic?
