It was announced today that Whitney Houston's new album has a September 1 release date. Now, see, I just love when they stick these divas in the oven and bake 'em till they're good and crazy (see: Carey, Mariah) then unleash them upon the public."Oh, no—she's fine. She's a star, remember?"
The press release says this is her seventh album since 1985. Only the seventh? Damn, girl, how long was that crack bender you were on, anyway?
The first single off the as-yet-untitled masterpiece is set to be "I Don't Know My Own Strength."
Truth be told, I never really gave a flying leap about this broad, though I did see The Bodyguard in the theater. And Waiting To Exhale. Here's hoping her new Max Martin and RedOne-produced jams are super duper!
Oh, she didn't work with Max Martin or RedOne? Sigh.
