Album Alert - Kelly Rowland - Third Album

BIG HAIR DAY!
Following on from our feature of her track Motivation, we delve a little further in what to expect from Kelly Rowland’s next album.

Her last album Ms Kelly was not as big “crowd puller” as she would of liked and was only saved by the likes of the Freemason’s fantastic remix of Work that got her noticed once again. Then providing vocals on David Guetta’s massive hit When Love Take Over and more recently Italian DJ, Alex Gaudino’s dance track, What A Feeling, and Nelly’s recent single Gone, she has remained in the spot light.

Her next offering, according to Kelly, will be an “emotional rollercoaster” continuing saying “You experience a sensual side of the album, an empowering side of the album, and a painful side of the album,”

Working with the likes of Lil Wayne & David Guetta, she is still busily work on the next her next offering and gathering artists to work with. (We are imaging Kelly with a big net running round L.A!) Being inspired by “so many different types of music, as well as the producers and writers on the album. When we put our heads together, we were all open to suggestions amongst each other, and that’s what made it so beautiful. We were celebrating music and creativity, and I was celebrating being a woman and feeling that power.”

Blimey! Sounds like Girl Power V.102.2 (Well it has been done many times since the Spice Girls!)

Her first single Motivation featuring Lil Wayne (video drops on the 4th April) has been getting the airplay U.S. side and we are hoping it will get chart position she is hoping for! We only hope that her solo work will be good enough on its own and doesn’t rely on “other” featuring artists or remixes by DJ’s to get her and her next album noticed

Lets be optimistic in that all these collaborations these last few years have paid off and her next yet untitled album which is expected to drop in late August or September of 2011 and her solo effort gets her the spotlight she deserves.

We’ll leave you with one of Kelly’s first solo offerings – Train On The Track
