3rddy Baby aka Third Degree, recently released a crazy record called "I'm on Fire" (Beam Me Up) that has been making a buzz completely different than most other rapper in the local Boston/ Massachusetts rap and hip hop scene. Featuring Renzo, this is what the scene has needed. I mean there are cats like Reks, Termanology, M-Dot and Slaine, that have been recently making noise with the underground scene. Then there are dudes like Lou Armstrong, Smoke Bulga, Dre Robinson and Frankie Wainwright that got the streets (Boston, NY, Miami and etc...) buzzing, but no ones really doing it on a more "radio friendly" tip.
And I don't want y'all getting your panties all bunched up, I say radio friendly in a good way. Most dudes are just making their music for their people... their crew, their friends and family. So half of the song consist of 'nigga' this and 'bitch ass' that... this is a real song that their friends and family can listen to, but it also has that feel good vibe to it. This can definitely be on the radio or on mtv. Third Degree is one 3rd of New England based hip hop group "DCFAM", Dark Cloud Family and Money.
