Oops!...Jive Did It Again: "Womanizer" Gets Taken Off iTunes

Well, okay, Jive Records didn't do it at all, but I digress...

According to apparently well-informed Britney Spears fan site Britney.com, "Womanizer"—the top iTunes download for the past week—has been removed from the online store today due to "a glitch."

"Jive is looking into this problem as we speak, and they're working to get it resolved ASAP," says the site.

"Womanizer" is on track to selling over 250,000 downloads by the close of the Billboard chart tallying. One more day will determine whether if it becomes her second U.S. #1, after 1999's "....Baby One More Time."

In the meantime, since Britney's gone AWOL, T.I. and Rihanna's "Live Your Life"—the current chart topper on Billboard's Hot 100— has reclaimed the top position on iTunes.

UPDATE: (10:41 p.m.) She's back on there.
