It was announced a couple days back that the promos Britney Spears did with wild-weaved U.K. comic Russell Brand for Sunday's MTV VMAs wouldn't be the extent of her participation...she's also going to "open" the show.Of course, it hasn't been specified how she'll open—by singing (God, no!) or by giving Miley Cyrus a lap dance. But, as we all know, even when she's so, so bad at the VMAs, at least Britney's always memorable.
