Three pop singles have now been certified triple platinum after sales of 3 million: Lady GaGa's "Just Dance," Katy Perry's "Hot N Cold" and Coldplay's "Viva La Vida."
That brings us to Britney Spears, who, after the premiere of her whoretastic "If U Seek Amy" video last week, sees the single shoot from #53 to #35. Spears, no stranger to things shooting up her, now has three Top 40 singles off Circus, after "Womanizer" hit #1 and "Circus" peaked at #3.
The last time she pulled that stunt out of her Amy bucket was with her 2003 album In The Zone, when "Me Against The Music" flopped at #35, "Toxic" rocked it at #9 and "Everytime" slumped over like a rickety old transvestite kicking up her thighs for the last time on can-can night at Ladybugz.
