This Day In History, April 19th back in 1897 was the first Boston Marathon. Ironically a New Yorker was the first to win it... go figure lol.
Also on this day earlier in time, in 1775 was the first shot of the American Revolution. In music,The Jackson 5 had the Number 1 song in the country with "ABC" in 1970... than 24 years later in 1994, R. Kelly would have the number 1 song in America with "Bump N' Grind"... interesting to see how quickly our music and entertainment changes overtime.
