This Day In History; April 15th. Jackie Robinson Breaks the Color Barrier

This Day In History; April 15th... Back in 1947 on this day, Jackie Robinson broke the color barrier being the first African American to play in Major League Baseball when he played for the Brooklyn Dodgers.

Also on this day, it was named 'Mariah Carey day’ in Los Angeles, California in 2008. Going back further in the music business... in 1967, Jimi Hendrix, The Walker Brothers, Cat Stevens and Engelbert Humperdink all performed at The Odeon in Blackpool, England, where tickets literally cost about $0.70 to $1.40. Anyone who went to that show definitely got their money worth lol~
