SOCOM 4 for PlayStation 3 just came out and I had the honor of getting my U. S. Navy Seal on with this ill new game. Yea they know 420 (4/20) is the national smoking day and why not release the hottest new game a day earlier on 4/19. Yea stonners across the United States, and all throughout the world are definitely enjoying this new special treat... at least my boy Lucky and I are hah. Now I'm not the biggest video game guy, but I'm a guy and video games are gonna be around to some extent. But Zipper Interactive and Sony really did it with this one. The new Sharp Shooter is literally a physical gun to shoot and stab with. The gun has a motion sensor in the front of it that allows you to feel like your really in it. Now the challenge is getting the movement down and the feel of actually holding a gun.
Now I gotta keep it real and say that Call of Duty Black Ops was my ish... and it still is... but I think I have a new favorite. I mean I'm not an angry dark person who's obsessed with killing others, but this new game is easily one of the best.
Graphics are incredible, better than pretty much every other video game out today. But again, I think its the gun that really gives it that push over every other game out these days. I mean, Duck Hunt was one of the illest games back in the days with super Mario and so fourth... but with today's technology, them ducks would get their guts splattered all across the screen hah.. yea this game is sickkkkk! And its just a video game, I don't want to hear anyone complain and say how they dislike the fact that PlayStation and Sony are making a physical weapon that will only encourage violence... as I mentioned, it all began with Duck Hunt and I'm fine, I don't want to kill anyone. A video game is meant to be fun and allow you to just get away from your real life responsibilities for a few minutes or an hour, or whatever... just as a movie allows you to do.
This may very well be the Best Game of 2011. So with that all said, it's time to get my Socom on~
