He’s loving fatherhood, and Elton John explained that he and partner David Furnish have gotten creative when it comes to feeding their son Zachary.
Given that they’re both men, and incapable of producing breast milk, they’ve relied on a delivery system to bring the goods from their surrogate mother.
Elton explained, “[Zachary's biological mother] has been providing him with breast milk. We have the breast milk FedExed from where she is.”
As for their child rearing philosophy, John shared, “The worst thing you can do to a child, and I’ve seen it happen so many times, is the silver spoon. Being the child of a famous person is very difficult and we’re very well aware of the pitfalls of that.”
Furnish added, “Our life might be very luxurious but it’s all come from hard work. Both Elton and I have sort of earned everything we’ve done in our careers and furthered our educations through our own drive and our own ambitions and we want Zachary to be exactly the same sort of way.”
