Statik Selektah & Termanology come together and hit us with this cool~n~classy record and music video, "1982". Possibly named after the year Statik was born, it might also be referring to a time when Rap was more authentic or just original. This video "Shut It Down" features Ghetto & Ea$y Money of ST. Da Squad. Directed by Jon Wolf and shot in Law-Town, its funny to see or hear people try and hate on where these dudes are at and how far they've all come. *shout out to Danja and DL in the bg...
With this record in particular, I personally think its another successful record from this duo, and squad. Like I said, it has that cool and classic vibe to it, which the video reflects in some beautiful classic cars... not to mention women ;) Again, the women in this video aren't wildin out or over doin it like we generally see in rap videos. They look good while still having that classy image. But stickin to the script or should I say, lack of script, this record is money$
