The comic timing was uncanny. I don't think I've seen a stage performance on this level since 6th grade, when my class butchered charmed the student body with a heartwarming rendition of "Hands Across America" in our year-end variety assembly.
Brava, ladies. Brava!

Meanwhile, on the U.K. album chart this week, Madonna's Celebration hits collection is bumped down from #1 to #2 by the latest from Paramore. The title track is down to #14 on the singles chart.
Elsewhere, Aussie band Temper Trap see their jam "Sweet Disposition" land at #7 on the U.K. singles chart. The song appears in 500 Days Of Summer, which is probably my favorite flick of recent months. (See it!)
And finally, after "Bulletproof" hit #1, La Roux have to be a tad disappointed that the somewhat maligned follow-up, "I'm Not Your Toy," only manages to amble up to #27 after its official release.
Maybe everyone's already bought the album at this point?
