Beyoncé nabs her fifth solo #1 with "Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)," and her ninth chart-topper in the U.S. overall, including her hits with Destiny's Child.
A strong contender to knock queen B off next week is Britney Spears, whose same-titled second single off Circus has been the top download on iTunes since Tuesday night.
The Hot Shot Debut on the chart this week comes from Kanye West and Lil Wayne at #21 with "See You In My Nightmares." But as mentioned yesterday, his 808s & Heartbreak album appears to be a dud, so hopeful Kanye fades away faster than you can say Alicia Keys this go round.
Rihanna's eighth single off Good Girl Gone Bad, "Rehab," moves up to #28 this week. And if you needed one more nail in the coffin for music sales, even after eight singles, that album is only certified double platinum.
Anyway, despite posting not so groovy sales with Day & Age (which debuts at #6 this week on the album chart), The Killers' "Human" jumps up from #63 to #49.
"Human" initially entered the Hot 100 and peaked at #32 two months ago.
